In late 2023, Colorado is set to act on the will of a majority of the state’s voters to begin reintroducing wolves to the vast public lands of western Colorado. As our colleague Doug Smith from the National Park Service demonstrates, the process of capturing and collaring wolves is exciting, but fraught for both biologists and the wolves.
